Cari Hanson
Her work is rooted in strategy, systems thinking, equity, sustainability, human-centered design, education, and relationship building. She has consistently focused on bringing people together to strengthen initiatives, radically collaborate, and build connections that produce impact. Previous client engagements include SOCAP16-19, Orfalea Foundation, Future of Fish, and Mission Investors Exchange. She was also on the design team that created the first LEED-type certification process for businesses and communities at an ecosystem level.
Most recently, Cari served as Vice President of SOCAP Global, where she led the content curation, execution, and strategic development for the thought leadership platform. Her role was instrumental in shaping the conversation and strategic direction for a global community, ecosystem, and marketplace, accelerating the movement toward a more just, equitable, and sustainable economy. At SOCAP Global, she co-designed SPECTRUM, a community of multicultural change makers building an inclusive, impact economy focused on equity, action, justice, and closing the wealth gap. In 2022, MJN led the content curation for SOCAP22, bringing a justice focus to the conference and content.
Cari is most comfortable pushing the leading edges of challenging topics and finding a home for innovative ideas that will soon become commonplace thinking. She has worked in development, operations, coaching, event production, and executive leadership roles. She thrives on helping create the structures and interactions that build foundations for vital dialogue and real change.
In my free time, I am learning to skate to keep up with my hockey-playing family, hitting the trail with one of the dogs, and dreaming about the next travel adventure.
