We create platforms for BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ creatives to bring their talents to our community by providing spaces for education and cathartic healing. In this sacred exchange between artist and audience, we mobilize a transformation in our borough, our city, and ultimately, our world.

Bios
Sunny Roberts is a filmmaker from Chapeltown, Leeds, England: a thriving immigrant neighborhood, that rooted him his Afro-Caribbean heritage. Sunny studied within The Borough of Manhattan Community College, Video Arts and Technology department, and The City College of New York BFA program, with a focus on Narrative Filmmaking. Sunny has hosted film showcases through The Black Atrium and Fine Print, featuring his own documentary Valiente (2020). He has spent 3 years in television, on shows including: L&O SVU (NBC/Universal Television), FBI (CBS/Universal Television) and Blue Bloods (CBS Studios). He has also crewed on The Crowded Room (Apple Studios/Weed Road) and Dead Ringers (Amazon Studios/Astral Projection).
Manuela Agudelo is a Colombian dancer and choreographer raised in Queens New York. Manuela’s movement is influenced by Afro Indigenous Colombian folk dances as well as street styles from NYC. Additionally, Manuela is also the founder of KALEIDOSPACE. Manuela has performed at Fall for Dance with Monica Bill Barnes in The Running Show 2019 as well as in the film Keep Moving 2020. Manuela has had the pleasure of dancing with Larry Keigwen, Kim Elliott Dance and Quilan Arnold. Manuela has also appeared in commercials for major brands such as Beats by Dr.Dre, Nexus Hair, Vita Coco, Sprayground and Jarlsberg Cheese. She has also appeared in music videos for major artists such as SZA, and A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie.
Kelly Arango is an artist born and raised in Queens, New york with Colombian heritage. Over the course of her artistic career Kelly has focused on portraiture and community as a subject in all her mediums. Her specialities vary from watercolor to analog photography, with a keen eye for capturing the candid color theory in the environments that surround her. She also puts a lot of focus on portraying many faces that make up the community around her. Being an artist for and by the community, especially in Queens, continues to influence her passion for street photography, portraiture, and uplifting local artistry.
Kacia Flórez is a Colombian-Ecuadorian Queens native singer-songwriter, whose music is inspired by folkloric rhythms from her country of origin. Kacia has performed for the Ecuadorian American Cultural Center, The Queens Museum, The Museum of Human Achievement, and has been involved with ongoing community work through Queens-based art collective Kaleidospace. Today you can check out her newest release ‘Kacia Flórez - Vol. 1,’ an EP honoring her Andean roots on all streaming platforms.
Mark Saldana is a local artist born and raised in Queens.
His work is inspired by traditional textiles and designs from his Mexican origins. Saldana's work has been featured in Queens Museum, Fashion Institute of Technology, The Colgate Palm Olive Company Building, and The Adam Clayton Powell JR. State Office Building as well as Cooper Union College and Cooper Hewitt.
